Our story began in September of 2020 at good ole' Brewsky's in Hattiesburg. I was out one night with two of my best friends, Mackenzie and Courtney, and their boyfriends. Tired of being the fifth wheel, I asked the two boys to scout out the bar to find me someone who they thought would be a good fit for me. Shortly after, Cameron, Mackenzie's now husband, brought me Landon. We hit it off, had a great conversation, exchanged numbers, and went our separate ways.

I told my friends I thought he was so cute and that I hoped he would text me. Now at the time, Landon had long hair and he was 27 while I was 21. So naturally, my friends were a bit skeptical. Not to mention the huge scorpion tattoo on his arm. Landon asked me on a date the next day, but I was hesitant and didn't respond. For the next couple of months, I regretted my decision and hoped he would reach out again. He did.

December 2nd, on his mom's birthday, he asked me out again. We went to a little Italian restaurant two days later and have been inseparable since. I don't think either one of us realized what exactly we were getting into. We've gone through more ups and downs in the past 4 years than most people go through in a lifetime, but I wouldn't change a thing. We've learned, grown, and always come out stronger. We couldn't have done it without the love and support from our friends and family!
